Some say the seasons are reversed in Northern California: the landscape is green in the winter (when we receive all our rainfall) but turns golden brown by late-May. Whether reversed or normal, the golden grasses along the coast are a delight to see and they seem to warm the otherwise cold, foggy mornings of summer.
