John -- There certainly is no shortage of interesting material for photography. Please do encourage your grandson. Even the upcoming fog season can be interesting when the fog comes to ground level (rather than a low overcast). Come to think of it, even low overcast makes new opportunities to go into the forest and try to capture the redwoods. Every time I think I'm running out of material here, I just have to think a bit and I pretty quickly fill up a sheet of paper with more ideas for images. Frank

Your photos are supurb! I have forwarded your address to my grandson who is wildly interested in becoming a good photographer. He wants to visit us here to photograph our coast and I hope your website will give him inspiration to come and try his hand! Thanks, John

Nice site and images, Frank! You have spent some quality time at the coast and along the coastal regions of our lovely state - and the images evoke a nice mood and feeling of the places you have visited. Keep 'em coming!
